Who are you ?
ARKHAZIUM is Seb (44 years old - Marseille) & Flo (31 years old - Orleans).
The duo was born from a meeting following a remix contest for the launch of the label UndGrdMelodic of Cobb Nolan & Joachim Garraud in early 2021. Our remixes gave us the desire to work together on a first collaboration then two, then finally we founded ARKHAZIUM. We both have quite different backgrounds. Seb has been playing keyboards for about 30 years in different bands and got closer to electronic music production quite recently.

Flo has a more rhythmic background around drums and DJing. He has also produced many tracks on his own, some of which were signed to Joachim Garraud in the past. What brought us together is a common point around melodic techno and progressive house. We are really attracted by these styles.
Since the beginning of 2021, we have made about ten tracks that we have signed in different labels and all are not yet released (about half). Currently, 5 tracks are available on all download and streaming platforms. Thanks to one of them, we were able to join the UndGrdMelodic label and have the honor to play on the Black Stage of the 2021 edition of Elektric Park the festival produced by the man whose name must not be mentioned at Les Sondiers otherwise it's 10 balls ... (J.G). Knarf that we met on this occasion offered us a platform on an OKLM show in October.

Melodic techno, progressive house. N'To, Stephan Bodzin, Boris Brechja, Solomun, Mind Against, Tale of us, Jean Michel Jarre, Joris Delacroix, Worakls, Paul Kalkbrener...
What is your artistic approach for this album ?
For this title but as for the others, we start from tests or from a spirit and we dig it. On the tracks of the EP, we started for Bermuda from a base of Flo that Seb completed. On the contrary, on Butterfly, the base came from Seb and Flo reworked all the drums. Our approach is necessarily collaborative, since we exchange our projects and we complete them until we obtain the validation (or the rejection) of both. We are often very complementary and we don't reserve any domain for ourselves, even if on the rhythmic it's generally more Flo's domain and the melodies rather Seb. But it is only a tendency and not necessarily obligatory.
Please describe your workflow: Software-Vst-Vsti and why this choice.
The base of work is Ableton Suite. Seb works a lot with hard synths (Minilogue, Minilogue XD, Microfreak, Crave, Deepmind, circuit tracks) and some vst (V Collection, Pigment etc...). As for Flo, it's mainly digital but with a strong mastery on the use of VSTs and native Ableton instrus (Diva, Serum in particular...) Seb also likes to manipulate and manipulate samples especially for ambiences, Fx and vocals.Contacts
